Boys Soccer Defeat Spartans for 2nd Area Win

The Spain Park boys team met the #6 Mountain Brook Spartans Friday night for an area clash. The Jaguars took the initiative in the first half when Victor Ibanez wrapped a shot off the goal post from 30 yards in the 9th minute of the first half. The Jags continued to press for the winner

SPHS Boys Soccer Defeat Hewitt Trussville 5-0

Friday night the SPHS Boys soccer team beat the Hewitt Trussville Huskies 5-0 in area play. Goals by Johnathan Gonzalez and Crew Vlerebome in the first half helped the Jags take a 2-0 lead into halftime. The Jaguars added to their lead in second half with goals from Omar Hamid, Victor Ibanez, and Brooks Rice.
