The varsity boys bowling team defeated Indian Springs yesterday in its first ever bowling match. Bowling is considered an “emerging” sport by the AHSAA, which means it will not have a championship venue this year, but will beginning next year. Malik Blanchard added 11 points and four steals for the host Jaguars (3-0). Dekota Holtzclaw and Nick Cunningham both had 15 points for North Forsyth (0-1).
The Spain Park Cheerleaders competed at the North Alabama Regional Cheer Competition on Saturday, November 8th and finish 2nd in the Super Varsity Division. This second place finish qualified the team for the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, FL in February.
