Spain Park 72, North Forsyth (Ga.) 50: Wiley leads Jaguars with 12 points, 16 rebounds

Malik Blanchard added 11 points and four steals for the host Jaguars (3-0). Dekota Holtzclaw and Nick Cunningham both had 15 points for North Forsyth (0-1).

Cheerleaders Qualify for Nationals!

The Spain Park Cheerleaders competed at the North Alabama Regional Cheer Competition on Saturday, November 8th and finish 2nd in the Super Varsity Division.  This second place finish qualified the team for the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, FL in February.

Trent Harper Offered Appointment at the Air Force Academy

Senior Trent Harper has been offered an appointment at the United States Air Force Academy and has also been offered a position on their lacrosse team. Trent is a senior and is considered one of the top lacrosse players in the state of Alabama. Trent also started at wide receiver for the football team. 

Boys Soccer Parent Meeting Thursday Nov 13

There will be a mandatory parent meeting for the boys soccer team this Thursday Nov 13 at 6:30pm in the SPHS Library. One parent from each player must be in attendance as we cover all aspects of the upcoming spring 2015 season.

Spain Park 90, Hueytown 71: Jags start fast, pull away from Golden Gophers

The Jags (1-0) jumped out to a 24-12 lead after the first quarter, then outscored Hueytown (0-2) 21-9 in the third to put the game away. Jamal Johnson had 20 points, six steals and five
