Jags win West Alabama Classic with record score

The Spain Park boys golf team won the 14th Annual West Alabama Classic with a tournament record 2-day score of 6-under par, 570, 3 shots better than Mountain Brook’s 573 in 2011.  Hosted by Northridge High School at Ol’ Colony Golf Complex in Tuscaloosa, the field consisted of 19 teams and 101 total players. Hagood Named AGA Junior Player of the Year

The Alabama Golf Association named Senior Ethan Hagood the 2017 Junior Boys Player of the Year.  The award was announced in January and Hagood was recognized at the AGA banquet on Saturday. Dunlap & Hagood finish 1-2, team 2nd at Joe King Memorial

The Spain Park Boys Golf team will begin fall evaluations on Thursday, September 21.  Any boys interested in trying out need to see Coach Litton by Monday, September 18.  There must be a current physical on file to participate.
